Get into a Lucid Dream

Lucid dream is the dream that you clearly know that you are in a dream and you could design the dream process as well as control yourself in it. This is an experience that you build your dream for yourself. I have long been thinking that lucid dreaming is a gift that would come up to you without knowing when and how. However, the scientific report shows that people could learn to gain the lucid dreams.

And here are a few techniques that could lead us into lucid dream:
1.Keep a record of everyday dream. Recording could be a training to reflect on your dream. From which people would gain more familiar with their dreams and more realized that they are in a dream. So that next time they would know it’s only a dream to be controlled.
2.Give yourself the hint. Before you go to bed, tell yourself that you are going to have a lucid dream. This thoughts before asleep could always make what you think becomes the truth.
3.Introduce with memory. You could repeat yourself with the words: “next time when I am dreaming, I need to realize and remember that I am dreaming.” In this way, it’s more easy to know that you are actually in a dream.
4.Wake up and back to sleep. It’s able for you to make yourself fall sleep for a few hours and then wake up, keep your mind clear in a short time and then go back to the sleep. It’s more easy for you to have a dream with a clear mind in that way.
5.Reality test. Remember to have a test in your dream to test the environment around is abnormal or not. Just like the totem in Inception. For example, is the clock going normally? do you get any super-normal power? With this test, you might be more able to realize it’s a dream or not.
6.Make use of the external tool. You could use some external tool to help you realize yourself in a lucid dream. For example, a patch with a slight light coming from outside could make you realize you are actually in a lucid dream.
Having a lucid dream might make you feel controlled of everything and own a unique experience. However it does not mean that it’s better then the other dreams. Sometimes it could also be fabulous to get into an unknown dream. You could either own the enjoyment to construct a dream for yourself or you simply enjoy what the brains create to you.
